A Toast
The spirit of Manchester is an ode to its resiliency & continuous innovation. As we usher in the next era of founders and shakers we rely on our ability to adapt while remembering those who laid this path before us. Manchester Distillery was built to forge spirits that salute this past and celebrate our future.
The Distillery
At Manchester Distillery we distill, produce, bottle, label and package all of our products in our 2,400-square foot production warehouse. Our Master Distiller Bill Tambussi and a few dedicated members from our family office manufacture our entire output of artisanal Gin, Vodka, and future products in the making right in Manchester, New Hampshire. We have a tasting room with an outdoor patio that our guests can enjoy and rent for special events.
The Dreamer
Manchester Distillery opened its doors in August 2023. The distillery, founded by Liz Hitchcock shares a yard with the historical 101-year-old JF McElwain Shoe Co. mill building, now known as The Factory on Willow. Our craft spirits are currently distributed throughout our home state of New Hampshire. Liz’s dream is to curate an enthusiastic local and regional following with great-tasting products, a deep tasting room experience and colorful storytelling.

Lead Distiller at Manchester Distillery
An esteemed leader in the spirits industry, with over a decade of distilling expertise and a growing trail of prestigious accolades. Bill’s passion and dedication have led him from the copper stills of Edinburgh, Scotland, where he earned a master's in distillation, to then go to Philadelphia, and play a pivotal role in creating the renowned Blue Coat Gin. Afterwards Bill landed in the beach town of Ashbury Park, NH. There he fine-tuned their operations and reinvented their spirits into winning “Best in Class and “Best in the World” at the World Spirits Competition. Tambussi’s next challenge awaits here in Manchester, building new spirits empire by forging more world class spirits.
